believe it, preach it, achieve it!!

Dear Family and Friends,

My week!

Monday - the last Monday of the transfer!!! So we went and did laser quest - it was SO MUCH FUN! We went with the whole district and solange and Claudia and Rodrigo and Georgie! It was a blast and we rocked it. Then we said some goodbyes to investigators and members and had dinner and taught a couple lessons! We had an amazing last day together :)

Tuesday - transfer day 😬 so I said goodbye (kinda, cause she was coming to Bill's baptism on Saturday) to sister Rasmussen and picked up my lovely new companion, Sister Gillette! She is from Gilbert Arizona, and is Sister Lowders best friend from home so that is fun!  She is kind of the same as me. We get along well so it's really good! She came out one transfer before me, so she's been out about 11 months. And it is exciting because she has permission to drive AND to get her UK license, so we just gotta do that before she hits her year mark in 19 days. So now I don't have to drive every single day! We taught bill, and talked to him about his baptism and then taught Georgie, and then saw Solange and Claudia! It was a solid day!

Wednesday - we were able to see some people that we haven't seen in AGES, and met some new families who are less active and who have kids that aren't baptized, and we are now teaching them so that is super exciting!! Sister Gillette and I are determined to Reactivate the ward....well...as many as we can in our time together.

Thursday - we had district meeting! We have a whole new district essentially, as half the district left so it was fun to get to know everyone, and to really learn more about everyone. This day was also a huge miracle day, we had so much faith and BAM! Miracles happened. We went tracting with a member because our lesson fell through, and we GOT LET IN! Someone let us in and let us teach them and how they have a Book of Mormon! And 2 other people let us teach them as well! And a family is praying about a day to be baptized! MIRACLES EVERYWHERE!!!

Friday - we had MLC which was AMAZING. So much inspired training - there was a lot about faith which was so good for sister Gillette and I :) and then we taught a few people, bill had his baptismal interview, and we had an AMAZING lesson with our friend Kristina. She is so prepared....and she knows she wants to get baptized. Miracles everyday.

Saturday - BILL'S BAPTISM!!!! WOO! It was AMAZING! He looked so happy, and we are just so happy for him. It was such a good day.

Sunday - so this Sunday was really cool, cause we had a Tri-stake conference with Lichfield, Birmingham and Coventry. It was even cooler because....Elder Dallin H. Oaks came! It was an amazing amazing conference. I learned a lot about how much I need to noticed the miracles more in my life. Such a fabulous day!

Sister Gillette and I have been talking a lot about the miracles we want to see this transfer, and we have decided it all starts with our faith. If we have enough faith, anything can happen!! So basically, we have decided that we are going to work our butts off, set high goals, and see MIRACLES all transfer. We have some high goals and we definitely want to achieve them, and we know that

"if you have the faith to believe it, and the voice to preach it, you and God can achieve it!"

We have already seen SO MANY miracles this week just by increasing our faith that they can happen. There is a scripture in the Bible where the disciples ask Christ to increase their faith. I've thought a lot about that this week....and I've just been asking God to help me, as I strive to have enough faith, that I really can and that we will see miracles. And so far, miracles have happening in just a few short days. One of our friends is praying and fasting about a day to get baptized! Bill got baptized on Saturday, and we have found some amazing new people to teach, AND a member is going to go on a mini mission with us in a couple weeks!!!! AHH! So cool :) miracles are everywhere. And we are going to increase our faith and see so many more.

My challenge is to increase your faith and notice at least 1 miracle everyday, and every night...write it down! It'll make you happier, and that makes the world happier :)

Love you all lots!

Scriptures

Alma 29:9 "I know that which the Lord hath commanded me, and I glory in it. I do not glory of myself, but I glory in that which the Lord hath commanded me; yea, and this is my glory, that perhaps I may be an instrument in the hands of God to bring some soul to repentance; and this is my joy."

Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

Scriptures

2 Nephi 4:28,30 "Awake, my soul! No longer droop in sin. Rejoice, O my heart, and give place no more for the enemy of my soul. Rejoice, O my heart, and cry unto the Lord, and say: O Lord, I will praise thee forever; yea, my soul will rejoice in thee, my God, and the rock of my salvation."
